This report shares the methods, instruments, and findings of an evaluation of dementia-capable community efforts in urban and rural Ohio regions conducted by ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s Scripps Gerontology Center. With funding from the Administration for Community Living Alzheimer’s Disease ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Initiative (ADPI), partner organizations from the aging and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) networks collaborated to improve the dementia-capability of their local communities, with a specific focus on individuals with dementia who live alone and individuals with IDD who have, or may be at risk of developing, dementia.
