I was beyond fortunate to find an internship during my sophomore year where I got to learn all about professional writing and media production. And I got to earn credit toward my major in the process! Funny enough, my internship turned into a full-time position with the company, and I continue to help their YouTube channel grow!

Undergraduate Organizations
The ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ Association of Creative Writers (ACW) is an on-campus ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ organization designed to support the academic and creative goals of ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ creative writers regardless of major, interests, experience or class.
This is the Miami Chapter of the national English honorary Sigma Tau Delta. Membership requirements are at least 18 hours of English credit and a 3.0 overall grade point average, with at least a 3.2 GPA in English courses. Meetings and activities, however, are open to all first-year ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs, regardless of major, interested in English.

Planning a career in research and scholarship? - Our ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs regularly engage in advanced critical and creative research projects, some winning Undergraduate Summer Scholarships, Dean Scholarships, and Geoffrion Scholarships through Miami’s Humanities Center.
