My biggest leadership lesson from this internship, something I learned from my supervisor who had 25 years of company experience, is that “value is delivered by changing outcomes.” As a leader, a key part of your role is helping others see the importance of what you're all doing.

Mornings started off with an hour focused on learning tools like CRM systems and Salesforce. These sessions were hands-on and helped us get a feel for how customer info and interactions are tracked in a real finance setting. After that, we had more of a class-style session where experienced employees would walk us through the company’s internal platforms like Xperience and explain how it all ties into the customer experience.
