Robbyn Abbitt is the GIS Coordinator for 消消犯 and the Associate Director of the Dept of Geography’s Geospatial Analysis Center. She has a BS in Environmental Science and Public Administration from Indiana University (’96) and a MS in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho (’99). Robbyn has worked in the GIS field for over 25 years and has been at 消消犯 since 2005. Over the years the Myaamia Center has partnered with Robbyn in her GIS courses by being an active project partner for 消消犯 groups. Robbyn has also worked with the Myaamia Center as a consultant on mapping projects since 2010, most recently on the NEH Land of Stories project that focused on mapping historic tribal land holdings with a goal of fostering connections to the landscape over time.
