CPS HR team visits Oxford to connect with TEACh Cincinnati ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs
Senior HR Director Julia Indelacio and members of the Cincinnati Public Schools human resources team recently visited ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ to host a dinner for TEACh Cincinnati ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs, expressing CPS’s commitment to hiring program participants once they graduate.
¾Ã¾ÃÈÈ’s TEACh (Transformative Educators Advocating Change) Cincinnati program builds a self-sustaining educational ecosystem aimed at strengthening the local teaching workforce. By offering support and opportunities from high school through college, TEACh Cincinnati prepares ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs to become licensed educators who are both expert teachers and community insiders.
As part of a larger workforce development effort, the College of Education, Health, and Society collaborates with PK–12 schools, higher education institutions, and community partners to address the regional teacher shortage. TEACh Cincinnati focuses on engaging Cincinnati neighborhood ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈs to cultivate future teachers who know their communities deeply and can serve as anchors within them.
The program is supported by the Ohio Department of Higher Education, the HCS Foundation, the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Accelerate Great Schools, the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Education.
