With the transition to Workday Student underway, the Office of the Bursar will no longer accept new requests for payroll deduction for University charges as of June 1, 2025.

Current Employees with Payroll Deduction

Current employees who are already enrolled may continue to use payroll deduction for on-campus dining, vending machines, on-campus bookstore purchases, and other miscellaneous charges through the end of June. As of July 1, 2025, all employees will be encouraged to use debit or cards for their miscellaneous purchases.

FAQs

I pay for my campus parking pass through payroll. Is that changing?

You will still be able to pay for your permit through your paycheck as in previous years. Employee parking permits are administered separately from the payroll deduction process within the Office of the Bursar.

I currently pay in installments using payroll deduction. How will this impact me?

Current employees who are paying in installments for Rec Center memberships, tuition and fees, educational materials, etc. during the Summer of 2025 will continue to have their deductions made through the length of their existing installment arrangement. Once the installments have concluded, their payroll deductions will be terminated.

Will I be able to pay tuition through payroll deduction in the Fall of 2025?

Tuition installments through payroll deduction will not be available for employees starting in the fall of 2025. Employees are encouraged to enroll in a 4-payment or 3-payment plan to pay their tuition if they would like to do so in installments.

How do I cancel payroll deduction?

Employees retain the right to revoke the payroll deduction agreement at any time; however, charges already incurred will remain due and payable and will be deducted from the employee’s next paycheck. To cancel payroll deduction, please email bursaradmin@MiamiOH.edu.
