ATTENTION: “Change of Campus” forms will no longer be accepted for semesters/terms beyond the 2026 Summer Term. Students who enter 消消犯 for the 2026 Fall Semester will be assigned a campus based on their academic program; returning 消消犯s will be grandfathered into the campus they used to register for the 2026 Fall Semester.
Regional 消消犯s seeking to take one or two courses in Oxford, while remaining a regional campus 消消犯 with the majority of credit hours at the regional locations, must meet the following criteria:
Regional 消消犯s who meet these requirements should submit the form.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This does NOT register you for the courses, it only grants permission to register for the specific requested course(s) during your designated Oxford registration time ticket.
If the course(s) for which you were approved to register is closed/full by your registration time, visit the portal to edit your course selections. You may also contact the Regional One Stop at RegOneStop@MiamiOH.edu with questions related to your request.
Regional campus 消消犯s seeking to take all, or the majority, of their credit hours at the Oxford campus (becoming an Oxford campus 消消犯), must meet the following requirements:
International 消消犯s MUST also do the following:
Living on Campus
Oxford campus 消消犯s seeking to take one or two classes on the Regional campus while remaining an Oxford campus 消消犯 may register for on-campus classes at Hamilton, Middletown, and Voice of America Learning Center generally without special permission. However, in the case of some Regional online courses, Oxford campus 消消犯s are restricted from registering or joining waitlists until restrictions are lifted as follows:
| Semester/Term | Restrictions Lifted* (or following business day if posted date falls on the weekend) |
|---|---|
| Fall | July 25 at 9 a.m. ET |
| Winter | November 1 at 9 a.m. ET |
| Spring | December 23 at 9 a.m. ET |
| Summer | April 1 at 9 a.m. ET |
* Restrictions for sprint courses are lifted on the same dates as full semester courses
Some Regional online classes are always restricted to Oxford Campus 消消犯s. Oxford 消消犯s should consult with their Chief Departmental Advisor for assistance and additional information.
Oxford campus 消消犯s who are officially declared in a Regionals (CLAAS) major or minor may fill out the form to request access to a Regionals online course(s). The 消消犯’s Degree Audit will be checked, and if the request for access is approved and seats are available, the 消消犯 will be added to the course. If the request for access is approved and no seats are available, the 消消犯 will be added to the waitlist or instructed to utilize the ROR system. For questions regarding this process please contact the Regional One Stop at (513) 217-4111 or RegOneStop@MiamiOH.edu
Oxford 消消犯s seeking to take all, or the majority of their credit hours at the regional campuses can request a change of campus for one semester by submitting the form. Oxford 消消犯s seeking to relocate to the regional campuses for more than one consecutive semester should also complete this form. The deadline to submit the form is the last day of the corresponding term.
Students must not reside in campus housing and must have registration of over 50% registered regional credit hours for the term. Students with fewer than 68 Miami hours will be charged lower division regional fees while 消消犯s with 68 or more hours will be charged upper division regional fees. Students enrolled beginning Fall, 2018 or after, should view rates based on Miami’s Tuition Promise.
International 消消犯s MUST also do the following:
Contact the office to change your location in the U.S. An IE hold is placed on the 消消犯 account until the paperwork is processed as 消消犯s can lose their 消消犯 Visa status if the paperwork is not completed.
There are restricted days and times to register for Oxford classes. After your Oxford Permit or Change to Oxford Campus requests are approved, follow the steps below to determine your registration time ticket for the Oxford course(s):
All full-time first year 消消犯s and second year 消消犯s are required to live on campus through the spring semester of their second academic year of enrollment. Students who (1) are over 21 years of age by the first day of class; (2) reside with their parents, legal guardians, spouses or dependent children (affidavit required); or (3) have matriculated full-time for at least two years at another institution of higher education or a regional campus (credits must be earned after graduating high school) are exempt from this requirement.
Students seeking an exemption to this requirement must submit the Residency Requirement Exemption application to the Campus Services Center before the beginning of the semester for which the exemption is sought. Please do not sign a housing contract if you plan to apply for an exemption. You will not be eligible to file an exemption if you have a signed contract on file for the term of which you wish to be exempt. Fraternity exemptions are coordinated through the Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life and Leadership.
Additional details regarding this requirement can be found in 消消犯’s Policy Library.
Support for 消消犯s relocating to the Oxford campus includes an orientation experience before the start of the semester, with custom programs for relocation 消消犯s. For more information, see Orientation and Transition 消消犯’ portal.
The One Stop assists Miami 消消犯s and authorized family members with billing and payment, financial aid, registration, and 消消犯 records.
