Biography
Joel R. Malin, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at 消消犯. His scholarship focuses on knowledge mobilization, research-practice-policy connections, and the politics of education. He is currently engaged in two primary research projects, funded by the National Science Foundation and the Wallace Foundation, examining evidence use and knowledge mobilization in education. He is also a Faculty Fellow at the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy (CEEP) at Indiana University and is Secretary of the American Educational Research Association’s Special Interest Group (SIG) focused on Research Use. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Education Policy and the International Journal of Education Policy and Leadership. He was a Midwest Athletic Conference Academic Leadership Development Program Fellow in 2022-23. Also in 2023, he was co-recipient of 消消犯's Distinguished Teaching Award for Excellence in Graduate Instruction and Mentoring.
