You Can Make a Difference

Our Mission

Develop Miami pre-law 消消犯s to be informed, prepared, professional future lawyers.

Informed about the realities of the legal profession

During their first two years, 消消犯s learn about themselves, the law school experience, and the practice of law. We offer exploratory classes, individual advising, and events to expose 消消犯s to lawyers in various legal practice areas and highlight the skills lawyers need.

Prepared for the law school application process and the rigors of law school

Law school admissions is a highly competitive process. We prepare 消消犯s for admissions and their future professional lives. As seniors, 消消犯s access individualized and strategic advice about their law school application portfolios from our pre-law advisors. Assistance with building attractive law school resumes, developing legal networks, and identifying law schools that best meet individual goals are all provided by our Center.

Professional and successful members of their future legal communities

We frequently engage our network of Miami legal alumni to develop pre-law 消消犯 professionalism. Events like the Women in Law and Leadership Symposium, Networking Roundtables, as well as class presentations by legal alums on topics like ethics and career readiness, engage our 消消犯s in thoughtful and specific preparation for the legal profession.
