ICS Scholarships

In addition to the scholarships available to Miami Regional 消消犯s, the Department of Interdisciplinary and Communication Studies currently offers four scholarships.

Anna T. Hamilton Scholarship

The Anna T. Hamilton Scholarship is available to Miami Regionals 消消犯s majoring in Communication Studies or Health Communication. One of these majors must already be declared before applying for this scholarship. In addition to majoring in communication, the recipient must meet the following criteria: Female 消消犯 and EITHER African-American OR First Generation College Student. A personal statement must be submitted with the online application.

Harry T. Wilks Scholarship in Integrative Studies

The Harry T. Wilks Scholarship in Integrative Studies shall support one or more 消消犯s majoring in Integrative Studies. Major must already be declared.  Eligible 消消犯s shall have:

  • Successfully completed BIS 201- Introduction to Integrative Studies
  • Submitted a successful Student Educational Objectives Application
  • Demonstrated academic merit and financial need

Jim and Sue Paulus Memorial Scholarship

The Jim and Sue Paulus Memorial Scholarship shall be awarded to one or more 消消犯s majoring in Integrative Studies, with preference given to a 消消犯 that demonstrates an interest in Civic Engagement in the greater Hamilton community. Major must already be declared. Please note, this scholarship is only available to 消消犯s attending 消消犯 Hamilton.

Liberal Studies Scholarship

The Interdisciplinary and Communication Studies Department offers a scholarship to support one or more 消消犯s majoring in Liberal Studies.

Eligible 消消犯s shall meet this criteria:

  • Declared major in Liberal Studies
  • Regional Campus 消消犯
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Demonstrate financial need
