Work Study Opportunities Pathway
Work Study Opportunities Pathway is a program at 消消犯 Regionals that allows eligible 消消犯s to work on campus at Hamilton and Middletown in a variety of positions to help offset college costs. Additionally, this program offers campus employers the opportunity to receive federal subsidies to offset the cost of the 消消犯 worker payment. This makes work-study a beneficial program for eligible 消消犯s and employers.
Specifically, in the inaugural year, most Work Study Opportunities Pathway positions are reserved for 消消犯s who are in the first or second year of their academic pursuits. Students who are hired into Work Study Opportunities Pathway positions will be able to build skills that will prepare them for other leadership positions on campus. Students are hired to work during the entire academic year.
Why should you apply for the Work Study Opportunities Pathway?
Students who interview and are accepted into the program will work in on-campus positions to receive paid training that covers highly transferable skills. As the 消消犯 develops and grows through their first year of employment at 消消犯 Regionals, they will get the opportunity to move into 消消犯 worker positions of leadership to further enhance their resume.
Who is eligible?
Students are eligible for Work Study Opportunities Pathway based on financial need determined through the . Additionally, 消消犯s must be degree seeking 消消犯s at Miami Regionals.

What are the expectations of the program?
- Have the flexibility to work at least 15-20 hours per week with an average of 18 hours a week

Academic Advising - Front Desk

The position will include working at athletic events during weekend and evening hours. Prior knowledge of volleyball and basketball is desired, but not required. In addition, this position may include supervising the gym facility during normal school hours.
Possible tasks include working the scoreboard, scorebook, shot clock, camera, concessions, admissions, etc. during home athletic events.
Must be available nights and weekends.
Campus Kids Child Care-Hamilton

Do you have a love and interest in working with young children? If so, you would love working at 消消犯 - Campus Kids child care center located on the Hamilton campus. We have two classrooms, a toddler (18 months – 3 years old) and preschool (3 – 5 years old). You will assist in supervising the children, help with the planning and executing of lesson plans, guide positive behavior and provide personal care needs.

Must be friendly, courteous and willing to greet and assist all office visitors, including 消消犯s, staff, faculty, and community members. Perform basic office skills: answer phones, route calls, take messages, run campus errands, direct visitors, and maintain office cleanliness. Assist with set up for programs and events. Requires good communication skills and the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds. Must be willing to participate in various programs or events scheduled. Employees follow well-defined policies and procedures. Must maintain office decorum, rules and regulations.

The Front Desk Assistant in the Tutoring and Learning Center is responsible for welcoming visitors to the Center, answering the phones, setting up 消消犯 appointments from walk-ins, and supporting placement testing duties overseen by the TLC Administrative Assistant. By working as a Desk Assistant, 消消犯s will learn these necessary skills that employers are looking for: critical thinking, verbal communication, problem solving, and the ability to be a self-starter.
